Classic treatment for exclusive Torquay Villa

A beautiful private villa in Torquay with extensive views over the bay brought its own challenges: any works to the interior were subject to Listed Building consent, and we needed to take down walls and convert a series of small rooms into larger spaces to accommodate two brand new bathrooms complete with dressing areas and bespoke wardrobes by bespoke joiners Shawstephens of Dartmouth. Other interior design alterations included Belgian wool carpeting throughout, window treatments and sympathetic redecorations.

The new interior design remains sympathetic with the beauty of the classic architectural features and history of the house, with new wall coverings and fabrics based on traditional designs but incorporating a modern twist. All the new window treatments and upholstery were supplied by Fanfare Interiors.
